LGV Training Courses
For over 35 years, we have been providing LGV training. We provide quality training coupled with practical advice due to our long service in the haulage training industry.
Our LGV driver training is delivered by DVSA registered instructors using industry-standard vehicles. The practical training is carried out in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area, we use the Grimsby test centre as this is the nearest LGV test centre to us.
Our instructors have extensive knowledge of the test routes used by the examiners; candidates are taken on these routes during their driver training to familiarise themselves with the routes.
We have a dedicated manoeuvring area close to the location of your test.
Available Course Programs
All our practical driving courses are ONE TO ONE tuition and are tailored to meet the needs of each individual. We provide LGV training for the following categories of vehicles:
Category B+E (Towing Licence)
Category C – (Class 2 – rigid vehicle over 7.5 ton)
Category C+E – (Class 1 – Articulated vehicles)
What do I need to do?
Before your Category C practical training can take place, you must undertake a medical examination, apply for your provisional licence and pass your theory tests. Failure to achieve these items will mean that your practical driver training cannot take place. You must pass your Category C practical test before you can undertake your practical training and test for Category C+E.
For information regarding Driver CPC requirements please Contact Us.
We can arrange all of this for you; please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your HGV training requirements.

Just like to say a big thank you for a very enjoyable 2 days ADR & PDP refresher course. Matt and Sam were on top of their game. Especially liked the endless chocolate biscuits and Mugs of tea. Matt sure knows his stuff. Thanks guys.
Paul gave a good understanding of the responsibility of a locomotive shunter driver. Answered all questions. Help was never far away when needed. Thanks for your time.
A great insight and appreciation of driving and shunting locomotives. Enjoyable, factual and informative. Course delivered in a fun, casual, relaxing atmosphere.
